Every U-PACKER labeling machine completes a factory acceptance test on the customer's own bottles before it leaves our Guangzhou workshop. We ship around 100 machines a year to more than 70 countries, and none of them is crated until it labels your actual containers at rated speed. Standard lead time is 30 days; on-site installation and commissioning take 5–7 days.
Why We Test With Your Bottles, Not With Sample Bottles
A labeling result is a combination of three variables: the bottle, the label, and the machine. Bottle diameter, ovality, mold seams and surface finish all affect how film or paper wraps. PET, glass and tin conduct heat differently, which matters when hot melt adhesive is applied at 120–160 °C. A demonstration on our sample bottles proves nothing about your line — which is why your bottles are part of your order.
When you place an order, you ship samples of your actual containers, and your labels too if you already buy them. The machine is then built, set up and tested against that exact format. Our rated labeling accuracy of ±1 mm only means something when it is measured on the bottles you will actually run, and the parameter set that achieves it is stored on the machine before it ships.
What the Test Covers
Setup starts with your format: bottle plates and grippers are matched to your container, and on hot melt machines the glue system is tuned to 120–160 °C for end-only application. The machine then runs your bottles at the rated speed of the model you ordered — anywhere from about 1,200 bottles per hour on the single-station UHL-0101 to 58,000 bottles per hour on the modular hot melt configuration. During the run, our engineers check label placement against the ±1 mm specification, wrap quality (no wrinkles, no lifted edges), glue lines at the label ends only, and stable infeed and discharge without jams at full speed. If your project has additional acceptance requirements — your own checklist, a third-party inspection, agreed extra tests — agree them with our sales team before the test is scheduled and they will be run as part of it.
How You Verify the Result
After a passed test you receive a video of the run and a photo report — evidence your project team or your customer can file. You are also welcome to watch your machine being tested: customers can attend the run at our Guangzhou workshop, and if traveling is not on the plan, the filmed run and the photo report let your team verify the results remotely. Do I need to send you my bottles?
Yes. Your actual bottles are part of the order: they arrive with it, and the machine is tested on them before shipping. Send the exact container you will run on the line, plus your labels if you already buy them.
When do the bottles need to arrive?
With your order. The test is scheduled inside the 30-day standard lead time, so bottles that arrive late delay the test — and therefore delivery — not the build.
Is every machine tested, or only the first unit of a series?
Every machine. Each order gets its own factory test on its own format; the videos on our channel show individual machines under test, not a demo fleet.
What speed is the test run at?
